Become a Member of Masterworks Chorale
The continuing growth of Masterworks Chorale brings opportunities
to sing the world's greatest choral music with a finely tuned
choir and orchestra. We invite singers in all vocal ranges to
audition.
Like Masterworks rehearsals, this easy-on-the-ego audition is
designed to support singers in bringing out their best capabilities.
Though much of the music we perform is quite challenging, we
strive to keep our organization supportive and our work enjoyable.
To minimize the all-or-nothing feeling sometimes associated with
auditions, bear in mind that Masterworks often accepts new members
on a provisional basis, so that singers prove their ability to
sing the repertoire over a number of rehearsals. |

Choir FAQs
- We rehearse on Monday nights from 7:15pm to 10:00pm. Once during
each concert set we have a Saturday rehearsal that typically runs
from 9:00am to 2:30pm. The location of these Saturday rehearsals
varies.
- Our rehearsals are held at the College of San Mateo. (map)
- We do four performances a year which includes a holiday concert,
most with professional orchestra. Recently we've begun offering a
summer concert in addition to the four during our regular season.
